UPDATE...... I did it! Wooooooohooooooooo Check out these rocking directions I found: http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/FEATtheresasum04.html All the pieces have been finished. Today I will work on putting it together!
Went yarn shopping with a friend and bought some yarn for Christmas gifts. Yep its that time of the year to start thinking about Christmas! argggggggggggggg I won't be able to update the projects made from these yarns until 1/08 so as not spoil the surprise for the gift receivers.
I just checked my status on the invite list for Raverly and this is the sad news:
You signed up on July 22, 2007 You are #19728 on the list. 10295 people are ahead of you in line. 6767 people are behind you in line. 34% of the list has been invited so far
I am thinking it will be 2010 before I am invited!
I started Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell. Lately I have been more interested in reading Non-Fiction than Fiction. This book is Marcus's story how he came to be the sole survivor of a Navy SEAL operation in Afghanistan in July, 2005.
As I look through my finished projects and my current projects I realize that I have been 98% exclusive with the brand of yarns I use. I think it may be time to break out into the "wild blue yonder" and experience the other "yarn flavors" out there.
This project may get a tiny revision. A friend at last night's gathering shared some information about what might be a better way to pull the blocks together. I have to check out the information she kindly sent.....
HUMMMM is there any such thing as a tiny revision in knitting?
This is one of my current projects. Oh yeah and that is Kiki Kitty Kitty Rowe ~ she is the newest addition to our family. She isn't so sure about Poo Poo La Rue Rowe yet though....
