Comfest and FO's

Jimmy and I went to Comfest yesterday and had a blast despite the fact that we got caught in an intense rain/thunder/lightening storm. By the time we got back to our car we were both soaked to the bone. I think it will take my Birkenstock sandals 3 weeks to dry out. I hope the leather doesn't shrink too much. :-(

These beauties were a find at Comfest from Stephspun. I think I will make an iPod Nano necklace with the red/pink/orange. The yarn was hand spun by Steph, which come to find out is a member of our West Side Columbus knitters Yahoo group but hasn't been out to knit with us yet on Wednesday. The needles were hand made by Steph's husband. I believe Steph hand made the stitch markers.

I finished three WIP's since Wednesday. Below is the The Classic Sock by Melissa Morgan-Oakes for Jimmy.

This is the library valance by Dappled Lace Café Curtain by Knit Picks Design Team . We still have to hang it and I will take pictures when its hung.

And the cotton bombshell is finished!
